AT&T begins 2025 with a new "AT&T-Garantie"-Programm, focusing on enhancing customer services and networks. Key features include: - Customers experiencing network outages will be charged if their credit card is linked to their account. - Fiber customers with outages of 20 minutes or more and wireless customers without a connection for 60 minutes or more (due to at least ten antennas being attacked) will receive full-day service credits automatically. - AT&T aims to quickly restore services and offer assistance options, including callbacks within five minutes or arranged at the customer's convenience. - The program includes clearer guidelines for offers on wireless and fiber services.

AT&T starts 2025 with a new „AT&T-Garantie"-Programm, which the company claims to establish a new performance line for customer services and networks. The standout part of the announcement? AT&T will now charge your credit card if you experience a network outage.

There are two categories of customers for whom these credits are available, explains AT&T:

  • Fiber customers with an outage time of 20 minutes or more.
  • Customers without wireless connection experiencing an outage time of 60 minutes or more (if the outage is caused by at least ten antennas being attacked).

In these situations, AT&T states that customers will automatically receive a credit note corresponding to the entire day of service.

During a network outage, we will work hard to restore the service and make it right for fiber customers who have been disconnected for 20 minutes or longer, and for wireless customers experiencing an covered outage for 60 minutes or longer. Consumers will automatically receive a credit note corresponding to the entire day of service, and we will bring options to our small business customers to help them.

This announcement follows a similar programming announcement from Spectrum in September last year.
