Ichinoleser in China fielen vier Monate aufeinanderfolgender Weise.

Sales of iPhones in China declined again in the quarter and showed a strong drop at all non-Chinese brands.
Official data showed that deliveries of foreign-branded smartphones fell by 47% year-on-year, which can be explained by Apple's recent decision to offer current iPhone models at reduced prices in this country.
Ichino Sales in China
Sales of iPhones in China have been under increasing pressure in recent years due to a mix of the government's dramatic pressure on consumers to buy Chinese brands and Huawei's surprising resurgence as a premium smartphone competitor.
The tension among Chinese citizens has grown over many years, partly triggered by the trade war with the USA in 2019.
In China, using an iPhone is considered embarrassing by some consumers, according to a local report. The combined impact of US President Donald Trump's trade wars with China and Huawei's export blacklist further strengthens 'Apple boycott' movements in this country.
For several years, Apple was protected from 5G chip embargoes by an initial ban on China, which meant that Huawei could no longer effectively compete with iPhones. But the Chinese brand somehow managed to deliver 5G chips in 2023 and could once again compete with Apple.
Apple has not yet offered official discounts but instead prefers to quietly offer price reductions to third-party retailers who then pass them on to consumers. However, the company began officially discounting iPhones in 2022 and has done so several times since then. The latest example is a New Year's greeting promotion that begins tomorrow.
Smartphone Sales Outside Europe Continue to Decline
It's not just about Apple: New government information, as reported by Reuters, showed that sales of all non-Chinese smartphone brands continued to decline.
Deliveries of foreign-branded smartphones to China, including Apple's iPhone, fell by 47.4% year-on-year in November compared to the previous year, according to data published by the Free Trade Association for Economic Research on Friday. This is the fourth consecutive monthly decline.
The drop follows a 44.25% decline in foreign smartphone shipments in October and extends a declining trend in the world's largest smartphone market.
