New Apple stores are not opened as frequently as they used to be, but Apple continues to expand its presence both in the USA and worldwide. Here are the planned locations in the USA for this year and an insight into Apple's plans abroad.

Three new American Apple Stores are expected in 2025.

This week, Mark Gurman at Bloomberg provides an overview of Apple's product lineup for 2025.

Although most of his focus was on hardware launches, he also discussed the company's plans for new Apple stores in the USA and worldwide.

In the USA, only about three new locations are planned.

1. Apple World Center Miami
2. Apple Bradley Fair in a shopping center in Wichita, Kansas
3. and 'maybe' also a location in downtown Detroit

Gurman notes that an existing Apple store in Ann Arbor, Michigan could be relocated and undergo 'an update.'

The first two sentences sound certain—and the Miami World Center is already known to open on January 24—But Gurman is not yet convinced about the Detroit location.

It's a short list that likely reflects changing trends as more consumers increase their online purchases and Apple shifts its focus to other markets outside the USA.

Plans for global expansion of Apple Stores

Gurman disagrees slightly and broadens his scope, mentioning different regions that Apple is expanding into.

He mentions that the first annual Apple store will open on January 18, 2024, in Hefei, China, at MixC Mall.

In addition, there are plans for new stores or relocation projects in six countries:

• Australia
• Canada
• China (including Shanghai and Beijing)
• France
• Germany
• India
