Rumor has it that Apple is discontinuing the option to purchase multi-year contracts for AppleCare+.
Apple wird ab nächster Woche die Option zum Kauf eines AppleCare+-Plans über 2-3 Jahre in physischen Stores und auf Geräten nicht mehr anbieten. Kunden müssen sich zukünftig auf monatliche oder jährliche Abonnements beschränken. Der Wechsel betrifft hauptsächlich Kunden, die Geräte in Apple-Ladengeschäften kaufen. Es wird weiterhin möglich sein, AppleCare+-Verträge von 2 bis 3 Jahren online abzuschließen. Apple plant wahrscheinlich, alle AppleCare-Käufe auf Abo-Modelle umzustellen.
