La dernière boutique d'Apple a une façade courbe avec une transition fluide vers l'intérieur.

The last Apple store opens on Saturday, and the company has shown some advance photos. It has the same curved facade as we have seen in a few other city center stores before.
Apple had previously aimed for a relatively smooth transition between the exterior and interior of these stores, and the latest example in Hefei, China, continues this trend...
Third store on the street with a curved and fluid facade
We first observed this concept in India in 2023 (see below), with Apple calling it unique at that time.
The Apple Saket store welcomes customers through a unique and curved commercial façade, equipped with white oak tables presenting Apple products and accessories, as well as a functional wall manufactured in India.
You can see here the gently curved exterior, at launch with the presence of CEO Tim Cook and Sales Director Deirdre O'Brien:

The originality didn't last long, with the same design observed at a second store in Shenzhen, China, just a week later.

The latest iteration (top photo) was presented by Apple in advance photos of the Apple MixC Hefei, in Anhui province, China. In this example, there are no pillars obstructing the exterior, giving an even more subtle transition from outside to inside.
As always, local materials have been integrated.
Located near the Swan Moon and in a prestigious commercial and financial district, Apple MixC Hefei offers a wide curved glass façade that harmoniously blends the interior and exterior, inviting customers to enter the store. The new store is equipped with durable and locally sourced materials, reflecting Apple's determination for design excellence and environmental responsibility.
Due to its proximity to the opening on the New Year of the Moon, Apple marks this occasion in several ways.
To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, customers can buy a special pair of AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation engraved for the Snake year. They can also sign up for a special Chinese New Year workshop that teaches new methods for capturing and reading memories using the iPhone 16 and Apple Vision Pro, the first Apple computer in space that transforms how people work, collaborate, and connect. Customers at Apple MixC Hefei can also enjoy festive decalomania and decorative elements in the new store that create a festive atmosphere.
The store opens at 10 AM on Saturday, January 18th.
