L'utilisateur affirme que cette année, l'iPhone SE sera appelé iPhone 16E.

A source with a mixed journey affirms that this year's iPhone SE will receive an upgraded name to reflect its new design: the iPhone 16E.
We expect the budget model to receive its most important update ever this year, finally eliminating the large chin with the home button for a modern shape factor based on the iPhone 14...
The iPhone SE
The iPhone SE was designed by Apple as an entry-level option in its ecosystem. The first model in 2016 was based on the iPhone 5s, a classic design that has stood the test of time.
While the company focused on the reliability of the model, some of us have technically based it on the latest iPhones due to their preference for the compact size, faceted design (at a time when Apple was in its phase of rounded edges), or both.
The 2020 model was based on the iPhone 8, the last flagship device with a Home button. The 2022 version was a very minor update to this and is still for sale today. But more than seven years after Apple changed its iPhone design language with the iPhone X, the iPhone SE 3 now looks very outdated.
The iPhone SE 4, or iPhone 16E
This year's model will be the one that changes this. Based on the iPhone 14, it will offer for the first time a design that resembles much more closely those of current and recent flagship models. Although it is not a Dynamic Island screen, it is a day-and-night difference compared to its predecessor.
The leak Majin Bu now suggests that the new appearance may be accompanied by a new name: the iPhone 16E, perhaps stylized as the iPhone 16🄴.
Based on what my source reported, it seems that the new Apple iPhone to be unveiled in 2025 will not be called iPhone SE4, but iPhone 16E. It should present a design similar to that of the iPhone 14, with an OLED screen and an action button. The available colors will be white and black.
Majin Bu is correct about the titanium desert color of the iPhone 16 Pro, as well as the vertical alignment of the base model's cameras – although the latter has already been reported by other sources at this time.
But they were also wrong about other things, such as other iPhone colors and interchangeable magnetic covers for the Apple Pencil.
The concept is of course widely covered in the press and is almost a reality at this point. The indicated colors simply reflect the existing model (which also has a PRODUIT(Red) version).
We could certainly argue that such an important update should be reflected by a new name, but branding the iPhone 16 for an older design could be confusing – especially when presented after most of the range. For now, we look at this with a relatively large amount of salt.
