Le navigateur Opera simplifie l'interaction avec sa technologie d'intelligence artificielle grâce à un nouveau widget iOS.

The popular web browser Opera has just released a major update for its iPhone and iPad app. With the new version, Opera makes it easier for users to interact with Aria – the integrated artificial intelligence system of the company – through new home screen widgets. Continue reading to discover all that's new in the latest update of Opera for iOS.
Opera for iOS gets new widgets and makes AI accessible to everyone
As explained in a blog post, the latest version of Opera for iOS introduces new widgets on the home screen. These widgets are completely customizable and allow users to access key web browser functionalities with just one tap. For example, you can use the widget to open a new Private tab or even ask a question to Aria.
There's more: if you press and hold the icon, you'll discover even more shortcuts. "These additions accelerate your daily navigation by offering you access to a single touch to the features that matter most to you," Opera says.
But there is another important modification with this update. Opera's AI is now available for everyone, even when not connected. With Aria, users can ask questions via text or voice. Aria can search the web and is even capable of generating images using Google's Imagen 3 Fast model.
According to Opera, to use Aria without an account, simply update the iOS app to the latest version. The only thing to remember is that image generation is limited to five images per day when not connected, while registered users can generate up to 30 images per day.
Opera also thanks the iOS users for their "recent significant growth."
Innovative and user-centric updates like these have revived Opera for iOS recently. Between September and November 2024, our top-of-the-line browser for iPhone registered a 33% increase in new users in the European Union and a 31% progress worldwide! So, we thank you – you are the reason why we continue to design exciting new features by relying on the best navigation experience possible.
The Opera browser for iOS is available for free on the App Store. It requires an iPhone or iPad running iOS 14 or a later version.
