The remote play experience is amazing. You can play your own games on your own hardware even when you are far from your screen and your personal console/computer, as long as you have a reliable internet connection. Now, Razer offers its own solution.

Razer has announced the implementation of Remote Play for PC, currently in beta phase, allowing players to stream their PC game library directly on their mobile devices. This service will allow you to play your PC game library remotely from your smartphone or tablet, enabling you to enjoy your favorite titles without being tied to your desktop configuration.

The heart of the experience is the Razer Nexus app, a subscription-free platform that serves as a hub for remote PC gaming. Thanks to Nexus, players can access and launch their complete collection of PC games directly from their mobile device. Razer claims that the streaming technology ensures no compromise in terms of visual quality or game speed, offering a full-fidelity PC gaming experience. Of course, this claim is relative - even if the compression process used by Razer to stream videos is effective enough to reach this, your smartphone may have a lower resolution than your monitor, meaning it will never be truly 1:1. But we'll see how this full-fidelity gaming experience holds up in reality, as Razer doesn't give us any additional specific information about this full-fidelity gaming experience.

Remote play on PC is also designed to work perfectly with the Razer Kishi Ultra, a high-end mobile gaming controller. This is probably what will work best with it. When paired with an Android device, the Razer Sensa HD Haptics technology of the Kishi Ultra offers haptic feedback, enhancing the mobile gaming immersion.

The service really looks like Steam Remote Play, and we need to see how Razer's offer compares to this one. Make sure to check the Razer website if you want to know more about this.
