The Twitterrific team launches a new iPhone app "Tapestry" for Bluesky, Mastodon, RSS and more.

The Iconfactory, the company behind the now-discontinued Twitterrific app, has launched today the spiritual successor to their Twitter client. Tapestry brings together feeds from Bluesky, Mastodon, RSS, YouTube and more into a single timeline.

A little over a year ago, we reported on The Iconfactory's "Tapestry" project, launched as a Kickstarter project.

Now, the app is available on the App Store and compatible with iPhones and iPads. Its goal? “Tapestry connects your favorite blogs, social networks, and more into a unified, chronological timeline.”

• The Web Your Way: Tapestry combines posts from your favorite social services like Bluesky, Mastodon, and Tumblr, as well as other sources like RSS feeds, podcasts, YouTube channels, and more. All your content is presented chronologically, without algorithms deciding what you should or shouldn't see.
• Overview: Tapestry makes it easier than ever to navigate content from dozens, even hundreds of sources. Create personalized timelines, effortlessly sync your reading position across all your devices, and follow feeds in an easy-to-read, color-coded content stream.
• Avoid Spoilers Everywhere: Quickly create powerful rules that control what you see and don't see across all your information sources. Avoid potential spoilers and stay away from unwanted topics by creating rules that mute and disable elements of everything you follow.
• Powerful Search: Search for topics and terms across all sources simultaneously. Tapestry makes it easy to find the blog post, YouTube video, or podcast you're looking for – and it's easy to mark it for later.
• Built-in Privacy: Your privacy is our priority. Tapestry works with content stored on your device, so searching and viewing content is entirely private. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
• Custom Connectors: Increase Tapestry's potential with third-party connectors. Import custom connectors from trusted developers or write your own to add your favorite data source to the timeline. If an open data source is available, a connector can integrate it into Tapestry.

Tapestry is available for free download on the App Store, with subscription options to remove ads, unlock personalized timelines, mute content, and customize themes. Subscriptions cost $1.99 per month, $19.99 per year, or you can make a one-time purchase of $79.99.
