Season 4 of the Mythic Quest is now airing, while Apple TV+ begins to promote the upcoming spin-off.

The comic video game studio "Mythic Quest" is back today for its fourth season on Apple TV+. The comedy features Rob McElhenney as Ian, an independent game producer, and his team fighting to stay relevant in the modern gaming market.

My Mythic Adventurer first aired in February 2020, making it the oldest comedy at Apple. Although there is no confirmation of a fifth season yet, the service will soon launch a spin-off series and has already begun airing teasers.

The derivative is humorously titled Secondary Quest. When watching Mythic Quest on Apple TV+, the app plays trailers for Secondary Quest. The trailer will be available on YouTube soon.

Secondary Quest extends the world of Mythic Quest with an anthology format in four parts, more serious and less comedic. It shows the impact of games on those who play them. It relies on the success of independent episodes from Mythic Quest like A Dark Quiet Death and Backstory, which were the most critically acclaimed elements of the program.

The new Side Quest episodes debut March 26th, with all four episodes releasing on that same day.

At the same time, the fourth season of Mythic Quest begins today with the first two episodes. The rest of the season will release weekly, with the final episode debuting March 26th. This means fans can watch Side Quest before the finale of Mythic Quest.
