Tails 6.12 Sistema operativo anonimo corregge problemi di sicurezza nei circuiti Tor e nello storage persistente.

The Tails project has released Tails 6.12 as the latest version of this portable operating system based on Debian GNU/Linux that protects users from surveillance and censorship.
Tails 6.12 has been available for almost a month after Tails 6.11 to address several critical security vulnerabilities discovered and disclosed by a group of researchers from Radically Open Security, a non-profit cybersecurity consulting firm.
These vulnerabilities were found in Tails 6.11 and previous versions and could allow an attacker to monitor Tor circuits or modify persistent storage settings. The Tor Project states that these vulnerabilities can only be exploited by a powerful attacker who has already exploited another vulnerability to gain control of an application in Tails.
Tails 6.12 also updates the "About Tails" dialog with a button to check system updates, adds the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+T to open the Terminal, updates the anonymous web browser Tor Browser to version 14.0.5, and updates the Mozilla Thunderbird email client to version 128.6.0 ESR.
Several bugs have been fixed in this update to ensure that all Python code continues to run in isolated mode, avoid blocking the welcome screen during persistent memory activation, make time synchronization more reliable upon Tor restart, simplify troubleshooting instructions when an automatic update fails, and display an error message when the LUKS2 persistent memory encryption update fails.
Check the full changelog for more details on the changes included in Tails 6.12, which you can download immediately from the official website as a live ISO image or as a USB image if you want to run Tails directly from a USB stick.
Existing Tails users should update their installations by running the commands `sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade` in a terminal emulator or through automatic updates.
