Le supposées révélations d'iOS 19 montrent une application Caméra complètement remise en question.
A new rumor suggests that the Camera app will undergo a major revamp as part of iOS 19 this year. In a YouTube video, Jon Prosser reveals that the new Camera app in iOS 19 will have a design that "reflects the ethics of the visionOS design philosophy".
iOS 19 Camera App
Prosser claims to have seen the revamped Camera app from iOS 19 in action. However, to protect his source, he cannot share that video. Instead, he has recreated it from scratch to give an idea of what to expect from the revamp.
You can watch Prosser's full video below for a closer look at the supposed new design of the iOS 19 Camera app interface. The video shows how Apple has consolidated controls at the bottom of the interface into two buttons for "Photo" and "Video". In each menu, you can switch between different modes, adjust settings like exposure, and more.
At the top of the interface, you have quick access to controls for things like live photos and screen brightness, as well as resolution and frame rate settings. There is also a dedicated button to switch to your photo library.
What I really like about this redesign is that the camera viewfinder screen takes up much more space in the interface than it currently does. Currently, the Camera app is cluttered with controls and settings that can intrude on the actual process of taking a photo or recording a video. Of course, you need quick access to these controls, but this new iOS 19 design suggests that Apple has created a design that makes frequently used settings easily accessible while simultaneously removing some of the clutter.
The supposed redesign of iOS 19 is clearly inspired by visionOS and some of the transparent design paradigms Apple presented with Apple Vision Pro. We will have to see if this design language spreads to other parts of iOS 19.
Last year, an unverified report suggested that iOS 18 would introduce a new design inspired by visionOS. However, it was never realized.
Approach this rumor with caution for now. There are still five months until Apple announces iOS 19, so there is plenty of time for Apple's plans to change. It's also possible that this is a design that Apple is testing internally but will not see the light of day.
