AirPods Pro 3 has not yet appeared, nor is the complete AirPods Max 2 available, but with the release of AirPods 4 and strong software updates, it was still a stable year this year. However, my favorite new feature of this year should have the greatest impact months after iOS 18.4 is released.

My Favorite New Feature of AirPods: Siri Conversation

This year, Apple introduced several new software updates to wireless headphones since the release of AirPods Pro 2.

The following features were introduced with iOS 18 and 18.1:

• Sound Isolation: Improves conversations in noisy environments.
• Siri Conversation: Responding to Siri by shaking your head or nodding your head.
• Hearing Health: Hearing tests, hearing aids, hearing protection devices.
• Personalized Spatial Audio: Improved by Apple, but details are unclear.

The most transformative update this year was the trio of hearing health features. However, what I love the most is Siri support, which is supported by AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4.

I love that Apple has created a complete voice hint to demonstrate that it recognizes head movements.

This feature is great when I want to minimize my interaction with Siri while walking in the city.

It's also great when chatting with ChatGPT through Siri.

However, I already enjoy Siri conversations, and I expect them to have the greatest impact with iOS 18.4.

iOS 18.4 promises that smart Siri will promote everyday use.

The iOS 18.4 release this spring focused on significant improvements to Siri.

"Here it comes:"

• Running within apps and across them: When Siri Assistant can perform over a hundred new app actions, actual voice calculations begin.
• Personal contextual knowledge: Siri can respond to requests based on your calendar details, received text, listened podcasts, etc.
• Awareness of the screen: Siri can take any action you're seeing on your screen.

The promise of iOS 18.4 is an intelligent assistant like Siri that we all want. And it's something we haven't seen before.

"If Apple fulfills its promise, Siri's daily usage frequency will increase, and the new Siri Interactions feature will become more important."

"We are getting closer to a future like Her. More capable digital assistants can be easily used with 'Siri's hand.'"

As a result, features such as the interaction between AirPods and non-verbal Siri can combine to provide the best way to fully utilize the intelligence of the new Siri.
