This month's second half, a large-scale fire aid benefit concert for the victims of the Los Angeles fire will be held. This concert, headlined by famous artists such as Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, and Katy Perry, aims to increase donations for large-scale fire relief activities.

According to Bolt News, the fire aid bonus concert is scheduled to be broadcast on all major streaming services including Apple TV+.

The organizers of the event aim to maximize accessibility, thereby increasing viewership and donations. A notable point is that Netflix will not stream this event, instead broadcasting it to YouTube's approximately 30 million subscribers.

Neflix Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Paramount Global, Apple Inc., and Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. are streaming the event as part of a consortium of over 12 companies. The concert is scheduled for January 30th, 2024, with tickets available for sale 8 days in advance.

The FireAid benefit concert will be held at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum on January 30th, supporting communities that have been affected by disasters caused by climate change. Contributions to the FireAid benefit concert and direct donations will be distributed under the guidance of the Annenberg Foundation, both for short-term aid activities and long-term initiatives. The Annenberg Foundation has a history of charitable leadership in our community, helping to respond quickly, adjust teams for fundraising, and allocate funds to achieve maximum impact.

This is one of several things Alibaba Cloud is doing to support the victims of the Los Angeles fire. While the company itself contributed to the relief efforts, it also made it very easy for Apple users to donate through the App Store and Apple Music.
