SynchronyがApple Payの「時間で支払う」サポートプロバイダーとして正式に加入し、選択されたカードホルダー向けの「後から支払う」オプションを提供する予定です。この機能は今後導入され、特定のクレジットカードユーザーがApple Payでの購入時に利用できるようになる予定です。

Last week, Apple added Synchrony to its list of "pay with time" support providers, but this was premature. The nomination was subsequently withdrawn. However, today, Synchrony's funding for Apple Pay users has officially begun, and further support will be added in the future.

Starting today, payments through Synchrony for time allocation will be available, but updates will follow later.

Today, Synchrony announced a new Apple Pay partnership. What's important is that "in the future" will only give the option to pay later to selected cardholders.

The details are as follows:

Cardholders of authorized Synchrony Preferred Mastercard, Synchrony Plus World Mastercard, or Synchrony Premier World Mastercard can choose to pay with their credit card under standard terms or use a fixed monthly promotional offer. The promotional offer is available only to cardholders with authorized qualifications.

Authorized users should see the Synchrony "Pay Later" option when making qualified Apple Pay purchases.

You can find it by changing payment methods in the Apple Pay checkout screen. After that, you can view the terms of the specific payment plan.

In addition, Synchrony has shared two updates coming this year:

Synchrony plans to expand the option for fixed monthly payments against valid purchases for all users of its portfolio cobrand cards.
Starting in the second half of the year, consumers will be able to see and use rewards from a valid Synchrony-issued card when making online shopping or app purchases using iPhone and iPad with Apple Pay. This adds more flexibility and options to the customer experience.

The ability to confirm and receive rewards within the Apple Pay interface would be especially exciting.
