Apple is promoting its newly released Genmoji in a fun new iPhone 16 ad.

Apple has released iOS 18.2 on March 1st, and this update adds many new Apple Intelligence features to iPhones and iPads. Genmoji is undoubtedly one of the most fun features of this update, and Apple is already promoting it in new iPhone 16 advertisements.

New advertisements show the possibility of creating Genmoji in messages

"Imagine this. Use Genmoji." The advertisement displays multiple Genmoji that show the possibilities of the function. Genmoji is the name of the feature that allows users to create new emojis based on prompts they input. This function relies on Apple Intelligence's language model and converts text into images (in this case, emojis).

"Now, you can create your own Genmoji in message apps. Describe the Genmoji you want to create, and then add it to the conversation."

The advertisement description states. Users can create Genmoji through message apps and other apps that already support this feature. All that's needed is to open the system's emoji selection screen, tap the button to create a new emoji, and describe the content you want to create an emoji for, such as a dog wearing a Christmas outfit. Almost anything can be tried. Genmojis are generated on the device, and this is limited to iPhones and iPads. Specifically, it works on iPhone 15 Pro and later models, and iPad models with M1 chips and later (including the latest iPad mini). Apple announced that in the future, macOS updates will introduce Genmoji creation options for Macs.
