The latest Apple store opened on Saturday, and the company previously disclosed several photos. The front of the building features a curved exterior similar to what was seen in previous shopping mall stores.

Apple has always sought a relatively seamless transition between the appearance and interior design of these stores, and this trend continues with the latest example in Hefei, China.

At that time, this design was first seen in India in 2023 (refer to the following). Apple called it its own feature at that time.

The Apple Store welcomes customers through a uniquely designed curved shop featuring Apple products and accessories on white oak tables. It also features distinctive walls produced in India.

Here, you can see the smooth curve of the exterior during the opening ceremony when CEO Tim Cook and Retail Department Director Diederik Obrien attended (refer to the following figure).

The uniqueness is short-lived, and within a week, the same design was found in another shopping mall in Shenzhen, China.

You can see the latest version announced by Alibaba in Anhui Province, Hefei (refer to the top photo). In this example, the transition from exterior to interior is made more subtle due to the absence of columns in the exterior design.

Materials used locally are now commonly used.

Apple MixC Hefei, located near Swan Lake and at the center of business and finance, features a wide-grooved glass front store. This allows for a seamless integration between inside and outside, inviting customers into the store. The new store uses sustainable elements, reflecting Apple's commitment to design excellence and environmental responsibility.

To celebrate Chinese New Year, customers can purchase a pair of AirPods 4 (with active noise cancellation) with carved snake patterns. They can also participate in a special Chinese New Year workshop to learn new methods for capturing memories using iPhone 16 and Apple Vision Pro. The new store at Apple MixC Hefei is adorned with holiday window decorations and decorative elements, creating a cheerful atmosphere.

The store opens on January 18, 2024 (Saturday) at 10 AM.
