Apple has released beta version 3 of tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3.

Apple has released a new beta version today, but it is limited to certain platforms. tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3 have received the update for the third developer beta version of the new development cycle. The public beta was also released approximately three hours after the developer beta version.

The new beta version is available only on two Apple platforms.

A new update had been expected, but today's release was only part of what was anticipated.

Apple often announces a new beta version for all platforms at once.

However, it seems that only tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3 have received the new release today.

This means that all other software updates are still in beta version 2, while Apple's home products are advancing to beta version 3.

I am expecting a few more beta versions before additional public releases of various future Apple updates begin.

Last year, the company released only three beta versions and one RC for the x.3 cycle. The 2025 x.3 beta versions also had a similar lightweight lineup. This situation made it difficult to find new features in today's Apple update.
