Apple's Best iPhone Game of the Year award is the same as Google's Best Android Game of the Year award. I don't like passive games much, but I might want to try AFK Journey. I'm happy that Apple is awarding Balatro+, but its release requires an Apple Arcade subscription, which is the same as the standard version of the game. If you want to play Balatro on an iPhone or iPad and you don't already have an Apple Arcade subscription, you can buy it for $10 from the App Store and skip the Apple Arcade subscription.
