Del has unveiled a new line of leather laptop bags designed for productivity: the Dell Pro 14 and Dell Pro 16. This is Del's new range, featuring sleek platinum silver or textured dark gray surface options.

Dell’s Pro 14 and Pro 16 laptops come with several options that include the 13th generation and 14th generation Intel Core processors. Additionally, there is an upgrade option for the Intel Core Ultra processor, which will be available in March 2025. Some of these CPU options include integrated NPUs for local machine learning and AI tasks.

The Dell Pro 14 and Pro 16 laptops come with different memory configurations using DDR5, with speeds of 5200 MT/s or 5600 MT/s, and memory sizes ranging from 8GB to 64GB. In terms of storage, they offer various sizes of M.2 2230 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe solid-state drives, with capacities ranging from 256GB to 2TB. The laptops come equipped with a display that fits in a slim frame and has a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing more screen space and an FHD+ resolution for better visual experience.

While these laptops are very sleek, they do not stand out visually. One noticeable feature is the security functions. Dell’s Pro series laptops come with features such as TPM 2.0 authentication, a switch to detect whether the case has been opened, a privacy camera shutter, and slots for a security lock. Additionally, options include a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button, high-resolution infrared cameras, and support for VMware Workspace ONE Enterprise and Absolute Endpoint security software.

The laptops come with two 2-watt speakers that provide better audio quality using Waves MaxxAudio Pro, and two microphones to reduce background noise. The option for the Core Ultra processor is available in March 2025, but Dell has not clearly stated the release date or price. Once the product is released, it will be sold on the Dell website.
