TestFlight recently received a refreshed design and new features. However, before the end of the year, Apple added another thing. The iOS app for TestFlight now supports dark icons and colored icons. According to the release notes for the iOS 3.7.0 version of the TestFlight app, the update includes the addition of dark icons and improved support for the painted icon mode introduced in iOS 18. iOS has a feature to automatically darken some icons, but the results are not always optimal. Additionally, developers can create custom icons for these modes. TestFlight is a platform provided by Apple, allowing developers to distribute beta versions of their apps to users of iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. As reported in October, Apple redesigned TestFlight to make app usage easier. The interface now resembles the App Store interface, including app descriptions and screenshots. Previously, TestFlight only displayed notes about the developer's test targets. Last month, Apple updated the dark icons in the Apple Developer app for iOS 18. Additionally, the App Store Connect app, which developers use to manage apps available on iOS and watchOS platforms, has also been recently redesigned.
