Microsoft is trying a new strategy to attract people who use its Bing search engine. If someone is not logged into a Microsoft account and searches for "Google" on Bing, the results page will look like Google's.

No winning ad was found at the bottom of the first paragraph zone. No winning ad was found in the middle of the introduction zone.

This interface includes a search bar, top images similar to those on Google, and text below the search bar that mimics Google's layout. The page also scrolls slightly to hide Bing's usual search bar. Normally, Bing search results continue beneath this fake Google interface. However, this change only occurs when searching for "Google." This method is particularly noticeable when someone is setting up a new PC using Microsoft Edge browser. They might use Bing even if they really want to use Google.

"It may sound strange, but this could be effective for people who don't know that they need to click on search results before reaching Google. Instead, they might use the search bar provided by Bing, which could look like Google's. Although it sounds foolish, it could likely mislead users into thinking that the search engine is trying to encourage them to use something other than Google. And this is happening at a time when Google might be considering abandoning Chrome due to its own preferences."

The idea of filing a lawsuit against Google is based on the belief that the market should be competitive, and no brand or service should have an unfair advantage. If Bing changes its layout specifically for this search to deceive users, many lawsuits regarding Google's exclusive rights could arise, making legal proceedings likely.
