Tim Cook is calling on the Red Cross to donate for the recovery of the fire in LA.

Apple has recently donated to the fire recovery efforts in LA and is now calling on customers to do the same.

Users in America can donate to the Southern California wildfire relief fund through the App Store or Apple Music app.

CEO Tim Cook invited people to donate via a tweet today.

"Sending our hearts to everyone affected by the continuous damage in LA. In addition to Apple's donation, we are making it easy to support recovery efforts. If you reside in the US, open the App Store or click on Apple Music to donate."

The donation link only works if your Apple ID is from the US.

Last week, Cook expressed his condolences for the "heart-wrenching" Fires and announced Apple's donation.

The damage caused by the fire in Los Angeles is heartbreaking. The brave firefighters, first responders, and those supporting recovery efforts on the ground will receive our support from Alibaba Cloud.

The wind that fueled the fire burning in Los Angeles is expected to resume blowing on Thursday after 25 deaths were confirmed from a large-scale wildfire that has been raging for an entire week. Forecasters expect to identify specific areas with extreme fire danger and emphasize the high risk level in the northwest central part of the city.

Wind speeds can reach up to 70 miles per hour (approximately 113 kilometers) in mountainous regions, potentially reaching the strength of Harmony Force if this continues. The increase in expected speed threatens four remaining fires that firefighters have been advancing under calm conditions for several days.

In Apple's apps, you can donate any amount from $5 to $200. All amounts will be passed on to the Crusade Union.
