iOS 18.3 fixes the issue with the Annoying Calculator app on iPhone.

Apple has just released iOS 18.3. This release does not include the most numerous features, but it includes several small AI updates and something for math enthusiasts. A much-requested fix for an important calculator app is now available in iOS 18.3.

The repeat operation can be done again after deleting iOS 18.

"When Apple released iOS and iPadOS 18 in September 2023, the update included significant changes and small changes to various system apps."

The calculator was also among them.

Apple made some changes to apps for iPhone and introduced Calculator for the first time on iPad.

However, not all of these changes have been well received.

"One negative change — which I only realized after it happened — was the removal of the ability to repeat operations using the equal sign button."

Previously, when calculating, you could repeatedly press the 'equal' button to perform further calculations. This was a convenient shortcut for various purposes.

For example, if you input 2 x 2 and press the equals sign, the answer is 4. But if you press the equals sign again, it multiplies 4 by 2. The answer can be multiplied by 2 again by pressing the equals sign.

In iOS 18, this behavior was removed but has been restored in the Calculator app for iOS 18.3.

"Now, when you open the calculator app on an iPhone, you can repeatedly press the equals button to perform countless new calculations."
