「These three adjustments brought Christmas atmosphere to my iPhone」

In this most wonderful time of the year, I wanted to participate in iPhone as well. This is the device that I use the most, so these seasonal adjustments helped me feel more festive after a few settings.

"1. Switch to holiday wallpaper"

I started with the new iPhone wallpaper. By tapping on the lock screen and keeping it in place, I could select a new wallpaper without losing the existing options by tapping the plus button. This way, I could return to the original wallpaper when Christmas decorations went down.

You can choose any wallpaper that colors your mood. It can be a decoration photo, someone you love wearing happy clothes, or Christmas-themed wallpapers you found online. I chose an emoji wallpaper from Apple's options and arranged emoji-related patterns in it. Although it might be a bit large, it is Christmas, right?

"2. Design the home screen"

Next, I created a new home screen and customized the app layout and widgets by long-pressing the home screen, switching to edit mode, and swiping to a new page.

I first added a Christmas countdown widget. There are many free ones in the App Store, but I preferred "Christmas Countdown Widget 24" due to its simple design. Then, I added a large Photos widget and set it to display photos from a winter album I previously created.

Finally, I added some important apps (not related to work) and tapped on the dots at the bottom of the screen to hide the original home screen. I'll switch back when my vacation is over.

"3 Change alarms and ringtones"

I know that everyone now uses silent mode on their mobile phones. But if it's not silent, there's absolutely no reason to change the bell sound to a Christmas song. To do this, go to Settings > Sounds & Vibration > Bell Sound. However, to use a custom bell sound without purchasing one from the Tone Store, you may need to import your own ringtone into the iPhone.

I always keep my iPhone in silent mode, but I have different alarms throughout the day (to wake up early or to check my dog's feeding time). So, I changed the alarm sound to a Christmas song. To do this, open the Clock app, select an alarm, and open the "Sound" option. If you're using Apple Music, you can choose any song from there.
