JBL's new smartwatch wants to control your nightstand.

JBL has announced its new smart alarm clock, the JBL Horizon 3. This device combines a phone charger, alarm clock, Bluetooth speaker, and FM radio into one.

The Horizon 2 clock continues with the Horizon 3 providing stereo sound through two 1.5-inch speakers and additional bass through two passive drivers. It connects using Bluetooth 5.3 and Auracast technology, allowing it to work with other compatible JBL and Harman devices. Users can play music from Bluetooth or listen to an FM radio. All of this is from a very simple and stylish alarm clock.

The Horizon 3 has customizable lighting that allows users to change brightness and color, similar to "goodnight" or "waking up." It also helps relax with pre-set music, such as waves. Users can set two alarms using the JBL One app and control sound settings and lighting. Additionally, it features a USB-C port for charging other devices.

The company believes that its smart functions improve sleep and simplify daily tasks. However, it is an alarm clock, and many people use their smartphones for the same service, making advertising difficult. There are also issues with these features not being new or unique.

Instead, you can purchase an Nintendo alarm clock at a significantly lower price compared to JBL's alarm.
