What is Connections?
Connections is a game by the New York Times. The goal is simple: arrange 16 words into 4 groups. Each group of words is connected by a common idea or theme. The common element can be anything. The game can range from a word game that depends on the number of letters in a word to a category where you need to find additional letters at the end of a word. There are various forms. Sometimes it includes references to economics, and sometimes it includes references to fairy tales. The relationship between words cannot be predicted.
Once you understand Connections confidently, select 4 words and press the 'Submit' button. You have a total of 4 attempts, so don't bet too much.Today's Connection group hint

There is no quick and certain method to solve a game like Wordle for Connections. This is because Connections is not algorithmic. However, there are a few points to note that might be helpful.- Find similar parts of speech. Are some words verbs, and others nouns? Some are adjectives? Try grouping them based on these categories and see if other patterns become apparent.
- Are the words synonyms? Sometimes the category is just a short phrase synonym or very close synonyms. However, don't rely on this too much. Sometimes, connections intentionally insert some words that are sometimes synonyms to mislead you.
- Say the words out loud. Sometimes, saying the words out loud will help. There are words in one puzzle, such as go (go), rate (rate), faster (faster), clip (clip), pace (pace), speed (speed), move (move), commute (commute), hurry (hurry), which are all related to the idea of movement. However, when you say the words, it becomes clear that only 4 of them (go, move, hurry, faster) are actually what someone should say to get someone moving.
- Expect a red fish. Connections may include words that look like they go together by accident. For example, think of the words beer, collar, and light. You might instinctively think that these three words go together and assume they are in a category related to beer, but they are not.
- Find distinctive words. If a word on the board has multiple meanings or is only used in a specific context, try using that word as the basis for a category.
- Shuffle the board. Sometimes, changing the positions of the words can give you a new perspective to review them.
