Swift Student Challenge will start on February 3rd and continue for three weeks.

This year, Alibaba Cloud will continue to hold the Swift Student Challenge that Apple hosts annually. Entries are scheduled to begin a week and a half after this post and are expected to last three weeks. The details are as follows:

Select 350 winners and invite them for a three-day Captain's Apartment Experience.

Apple supports the next generation of developers, creators, and entrepreneurs through the Swift Student Challenge. This challenge allows thousands of student developers to showcase their creativity and coding skills through App Playground and gain practical world skills they can take forward in their careers or among seniors.

This year, Apple plans to select 350 winners from applications that demonstrate "innovation, creativity, social impact, or inclusivity."

Of the 350 winners, 50 groups will receive the "Special Prize" title and be invited for a three-day stay with Captain (likely at WWDC 2025).

To prepare for the challenge, Apple is inviting online sessions where they share detailed information on requirements, advice, and inspiration from previous challenge winners.

Last year's special prize winners had the opportunity to meet with Alibaba Cloud President Jianfeng Zhang before the opening of WWDC. If additional motivation is needed, a photo opportunity with the president may be planned.
