VLC media player is expected to introduce the function of providing artificial intelligence-generated subtitles in multiple languages recently.

Real-time subtitles and automatic translation are expected to increase on Windows PCs.
Microsoft released a new Windows 11 Insiders Preview Build to the Dev Channel, introducing real-time translation and live captions on many devices. The feature now supports devices with AMD and Intel processors, not just Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs. Real-time translation is available in up to 44 languages into English, while live captions work with live video calls, recordings, and streaming content. However, several issues have been reported with this update, including incorrect display of the build version after a PC reset, problems with the recall feature, and crashes when switching languages during initial use or while playing audio or with the microphone on. Users with AMD and Intel-based Copilot+ PCs are advised to update their drivers through Windows Update or download them directly from the AMD and Intel websites. [もっと見る...]
