acOS Sonoma 15.3 Beta 2 has been released. What should we expect?

After Apple took a break for holidays, macOS Sonoma 15.3 Beta 2 was recently released. This update is currently available only to developers and not a public beta. It's now being rolled out.

One of the main features of macOS Sonoma 15.3 is the addition of Genmoji.

macOS Sonoma 15.3 received its first beta version about a month before the official release, following the launch of macOS 15.2 and its major new Apple Intelligence feature.

The first 15.3 beta version included a notable addition: Genmoji support.

Apple released iOS and iPadOS 18.2 with the new Genmoji AI feature, but Macs were initially excluded.

Luckily for Mac users, they don't have to wait any longer for their Genmoji feature. It's now available in the beta version, and an official release is expected within about a month.

Expectations and Installation Details for Beta 2

The macOS Sonoma 15.3 Beta 1 didn't include many changes other than Genmoji. Perhaps Apple was delaying a major update after the beta was released before the holidays.

However, based on Apple's software update patterns from last year, this might simply be an earlier release date than average.
