Android phones are improving detection of careless trackers.

One of the main improvements is the ability to pause location updates on the phone. This feature prevents a detected unknown tag from accessing the device's location for 24 hours, giving the tag time to be found and disabled to protect personal information. Additionally, the new "Find Nearby Tag" feature makes it easier for users to more accurately determine the tag's location. When an unknown tracking alert is triggered, an Android device can help find the tag's location. Even if it's hidden.
Find My Device network works like Apple's Find My, allowing trackers to access the location of an Android phone to report their own location. Therefore, Android needs stronger control over these illegal trackers. And that's it. These new measures will not completely solve the problem (the culprit may still throw an AirTag in the car), but at least they will suppress it to some extent or make it more difficult to get the location from the other end of the tracker. You still need to find and disable unknown trackers, and these tools are designed to make it easier for you to do so.
These new features will be released on smartphones within a few weeks.카테고리
