The Winners of 2024 Are Strongly Reviewed New Releases

It's difficult to accept that. I am not a big Apple Arcade user.

I was subscribing through Apple One, and initially, I enjoyed the service a lot, but recently, it has been less noticeable for a year or two.

Could you tell me if the top game list is a typical trend?

Download numbers are not available. However, the most intriguing point is whether the most popular games in 2024 are new releases or legendary old games.

Is Apple Arcade an active game ecosystem?

The answer was shocking.

Out of the top 10 titles, 7 of them were released about a year ago. Only three old games remain popular in the service.

Looking at the top 8 items, 7 of them are newer titles, with the only exception being the increasingly sturdy Sneaky Sasquatch.

Regardless of how you interpret this data, I think this data shows:

1. An active and healthy user base in Apple Arcade
2. Plus developers' efforts to reward successful new games

Considering customer reviews, the top 10 titles are also strong.

Current star rating analysis of the top 10 arcade games:

• 3 games received a 4.9 rating.
• Another three games have a 4.8 rating.
• The remaining four titles have a 4.7 rating, two have a 4.6 rating, and one has a 4.0 rating.

Apple Arcade has many new games, is well-connected with users, and actually has good games.
