Akara, a smart home company, announced at this year's Consumer Electronics Show that it will release at least 9 new products. However, most of them are scheduled to be launched in the second half of the year in the United States.

These features include large touch screen panels, which can perform multiple functions as smart light switches. Other controllers and displays for various smart home devices, a Zigbee hub, and a Matter bridge for Aqara Zigbee devices are also included.

The company announced new products at CES 2025.

Aqara continues to focus on providing user-friendly and intuitive experiences by launching its first wall-mounted control panel in the global market. These include Panel Hub S1 Plus, Touchscreen Dial V1, and Touchscreen Switch S100 US, all featuring a smooth touch screen interface for centralized control of the entire home. With these products, users can manage smart devices and scenes without needing a smartphone. Aqara also announced the launch of the next generation dual-protocol smart switch in North America, Light Switch H2 and Dimmer Switch H2.

The core of Aqara's strategy is interoperability, as the company extends its Thread portfolio by including new sensors and border routers. Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 is a multi-sensor solution for body detection and environmental monitoring using batteries, while Climate Sensor W100 provides an improved experience for indoor climate regulation. The Matter Controller product line that Aqara is expanding includes the initial level Hub M100 with a very compact design. Additionally, Doorbell Camera Hub G410 adds functions to enhance security and connectivity within the home.

The focus is on this touch screen controller, the Panel Hub S1 Plus.

This premium built-in panel allows for integrated control of an electronic house through a single interface, enabling users to interact with their home intuitively without a smartphone. It replaces traditional light switches and can control up to two lights automatically via wires. This panel is equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi and a 6.9-inch touch screen, allowing it to manage various devices (cameras, door locks, thermometers, lights, windows, etc.) wirelessly and trigger scenes and routines. Additionally, S1 Plus works with Aqara Zigbee devices through the Zigbee hub and Matter bridge.

The company plans to launch in Europe this month and in the United States by year-end.

The availability of other new products will be anytime during this current quarter and throughout the year.

This article continues with the release of Aqara smart lock U300, Apple HomeKit support, Matter, Thread support, and a new water control device last month.
