Univershuffle is a new music discovery app that shuffles all songs randomly. It does not use artificial intelligence or algorithms, providing the best experience in finding a vast amount of music. However, it requires patience as you may need to sort through many tracks.

The app is partially free for use, and to listen to the entire song, an Apple Music account needs to be connected. It was released on the App Store this week.

Top Features

By connecting your Apple Music account, you can shuffle and listen to songs as per your choice. You can exclude specific genres for a better match with your music taste. If you find a song you like, you can add it to the playlist quickly or to the Apple Music library.

The app features a title translation function using Apple's Translation API when encountering songs in other languages. Clicking on the title translates it. Additionally, there are mappable buttons allowing you to set shortcuts for your favorite tasks within the app. This includes adding songs to playlists or albums to the library.

The app supports Apple Shortcuts and Siri, and provides iCloud synchronization across various devices. It also offers interactive home screen widgets.

Price

Univershuffle is free for use if an Apple Music account is connected. Otherwise, you can only listen to song clips of 30 seconds each. However, with an Apple Music account, the first 10 songs are available without ads, and after that, ads will be displayed.

If you want an ad-free experience, you can purchase Univershuffle Premium, which is a pay-per-use model similar to a "tip jar." You can unlock it for one-time payment of at least $5, but if you wish to support the developer further, options are available at $10, $25, or $50.

To continue supporting, there's also a subscription option. The monthly subscription fee is $1.49, and even after cancellation, premium features will be maintained if the total amount exceeds $5.
