Apple will add PGA Tour professional golf to Apple Arcade on February 6th. As a gamer who grew up immersed in console games, I can't help but be excited about the release of this game. It's just one of many high-quality games joining the ever-expanding game library. Here's what you should expect.

Expectations

Real-World Courses

No PGA Tour game would be complete without some of the most iconic courses. You'll be able to play on the following courses:

• Beachwood Golf Course
• Spanish Bay Links
• Spyglass Hill Golf Course
• Pebble Beach Resorts
• Baie Mountain Club and Resort
• Harbor Town Golf Links
• Royal Birkdale Golf Club

One big advantage is that this game belongs to the Apple Arcade platform, so it will be continuously updated. This means more courses are expected to be added in the coming weeks and months.

Head-to-Head Mode

This will enhance the game's interactivity. We'll be able to play real-time one-on-one matches against other players, including friends who are playing PGA Tour Pro. Since it's a real-time game, there's no waiting for turns, so the pace is faster and you can finish matches quicker than before.

Tournament Mode

You can participate in daily and multi-day tournaments. You'll compete against players on the leaderboard and be able to earn rewards that will ultimately help improve your golfer's skills. As you progress in these tournaments and other game sections, you'll earn coins and cash. This will help unlock more modes as well as better equipment for upgrading clubs and gear.

Final Thoughts

As I mentioned before, I'm really looking forward to this game. What makes it great is that it's part of the Apple Game Subscription service, so I don't have to pay any extra fees and there are no microtransactions associated with it. I can just keep playing!
