In a blog post aimed at Windows Insiders, Microsoft announced that the Phone integration in Windows 11's Start menu now supports iPhones. Last year, this feature was tested for Android and promised to support iPhones later.

Windows 11’s Start menu phone integration allows users to more easily share files between their PC and phone. Microsoft also detailed other features supported by the phone integration:

Users connecting their iPhones can now directly access phone functionalities from the Start menu. This seamless integration allows iPhone users to enjoy the same advantages as Android users, including viewing battery status and connectivity of their phone, accessing messages and calls, and tracking recent activity, all conveniently integrated into the Start menu.

Microsoft is rolling out this feature to developers and testers in the Windows Insider program today. Here are the software and hardware requirements needed for this feature to work:

Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 4805 or higher (Beta channel) and 26120.3000 or higher (Dev channel).
Phone Link version 1.24121.30.0 or higher.
Your personal computer must be signed in with a Microsoft account and must have Bluetooth LE functionality.
